Sandy's place...NICE, really nice! Only Mom left ME in the sleeping bunks even though I barked! How's a guy to give a full report when she won't let me out?!! Lots of people came out of a big yard that had LOTS of interesting places. Tents (not small like mom's) and Schips everywhere!! RUF...I WANT OUT!!
She got lots of hugs and did I see tear
there?? Yep, I think so...she has happy tears already! Anyone got a hankie?? I
can't get my tongue out that far!
Hey, who is this swell babe?? Blonde, tall, willowy...just a perfect Schip
slave...man oh man...Oh pardon me, Sandy my girl...I see you're taken...mumble
mumble..."What? Oh nothing...just thinking to Fox..." (that is one class
dish...hey Fox...look at all the blonde hair...)

Our hosts, Warren and Sandy with Kody and Domino
Then it was park that truck and let out the Schips...of course we HAD to give lots of encouragement to Mom, as we all barked in time with her "Shut UPS" hehe Wuf...Up went the ex-pens and out poured the black sea of Schips...all in FULL voice to greet all of Sandy's friends and announce the arrival of our pack. Isn't that what Schips DO??
Now we could see the set up. Mom and St
Ray had this special place right next to the staging area. See, St Ray had to
have electric for an air machine. You know...like the fish in the aquarium
have?? He needs extra air...[not like mom who has plenty of hot air to spare
(MAGIC!!!)
Oops...wuf!] Anyway...Schip Dad and the kid put up the tent and filled it with
human comfort. Mom and Fox were off to see all the list friends. Now what is a
writer to do? She left ME who needed to smell...I mean WRITE all my notes, in
the pack to guard! Wuf.

Our home in Montana
So I had to watch all the friends as they passed and soon I was meeting May (yes I really like THIS lady!!) And of course I had to show off my charms...she took the bait...but not me...darn! Have to find the way off this tent site...

May with Kramer, Gromit, and Binker
Toni and Mom came back and said we had to
make bandanas for all of us>>Light Bulb!! >> I'll help Mom...let's go check it
out...
The table was Wendi's special place...Yes, be still my beating heart...I got to
meet LANI Monster!! (oh she is just the sweetest and I could really
go...oops...back to the barn...)
So we got to paint, glue and generally make pretty things for all of the
Schips to wear. The Kid was de-light-ed! to make many for all and really got
into the creative thing. It was keeping her busy and out of Mom's way (and THAT
was a good thing for all, LOL)
Then a special walk...Oh I am just a dog even if a writt'n one, and the
place was beyond my ability to describe. Wide open with plenty of trees. Lots of
critters to investigate and what humans call "plenty of views to look at" all
around. The RV's and the Tents to hold all of the guests had this big open
field...just perfect for agility and NASCAR'n Schips. But it was all the humans!

"Look, Mom, trees!"
Oleo Ranch
Emotions...this SAR Schip was about wiped
out from all that love and friendship smell that flowed all over the place.. No
fear, no anger smells, just HAPPY ones. They sure were passing out the hugs free
and plenty too! I even managed to get in a few when they realized who I was!! I
see my fans were all here...(MAGIC!!!) OK, Mom, OK.
And food smells...all came drifting along on that breeze (you know...the
one that blew down the tents and brought the rain!?) I digress...The
Friday night social hour...ahhh I was NOT invited. But this sharp nose and these
keen ears managed to note that it was great food, plenty of it and NOT to be
given out to Schips...ruf! (But she did bring us each a special bite, after all
it is ALL about Schips here , isn't it??) Brats...no not pups and kids...the
kind you eat...and Susan's pasties...yum...and the olives that mom raved about??
NOT food for Schips...must be something humans do for kicks...wuf. But she liked
them. And BBQ ribs...and fresh Salsa...Her beans of which I didn't even get one
bite!! and SAR Trail mix!!! I love it...or at least what I can steal of it on
our hikes.
Anyway...I could feel the tiredness of the humans as they walked by.
Filled to the brim with the love of their friends, full bellies and plans of
the sry2k activities planned for the morrow.
