But it was time for her to meet her friends, and we headed off to the first SchipNic with her. Gail's Sail N Schipnic in Maryland. And she was a hit with many! Her Tail the envy of Schips..the oddity to humans, she was right up there in her favorite spot! Being admired by all <G> What a show off! And as usual, not still a minute. And, as usual, she knew WHO had the food and who would spoil her!

She had a rival at the Schipnic though...and they became friends. It was strange to have another with a tail! Trys'l and Sheba played most of the day. I wasn't sure which tail we would take home. Bryan and Sheba? Me and Trys'l?? I loved them both!

And then of course James!! As Tressa and I tried hard to get photos for a drawing, James fell in love and he too became enslaved!! Ahh the magic of a tailed Schip! And of course it is very evident in her finished art of the two lovers.  Sniff and Sheba!

Well, we still await the results of her parentage. It looks like Wooly is the only one left. The results of Magic, Sniff, Spirit, and others have not matched. The lovely mysterious Sheba hides the secret well. And does it matter? Yes...and no. One because she is a delightful unexpected gift of joy and sweetness. Two she can be bred to her love, Sniff, because she is NOT a Magic daughter! Three if she is a Wooly daughter, it is a gift beyond asking for there were only two of Wooly's girls left intact. Both are aged, one beyond breeding now. That's Rozza, Bo and Melody's mom. Wooly was the very best SAR dog ever! Fox is all I have of him. And after 5 years of breeding quality Schips, I would never have thought to breed him to a champion of Angel's quality. It is truly a gift from the gods.

And she will brighten my day as she peers over my gate asking to join me at the computer...coming to curl on "her" chair she stole from Sniff! Snuggling in the bed early mornings.

Or the sculpture Tressa did of her that will rest on my computer table! She will remain my lovely Sheba no matter WHO is her daddy!

The Mystery Solved!!

Well the tests are run...the DNA arrived. I checked it and each one was negative tillllll...(drum roll please<G>)

Ch DHS Simply T'Race To Shalako!! It was T'Race that did this deed!!<G> And of course, after $450, she is now official!! "DHS She B A Keeper". "Sheba" for short. Did it make a difference? Well yes. Cause of course NOW...she can be bred to Ch DHS Justa Magical Snifferke. T'Race is Magic's half brother, and Sniff, Magic's son. Line breeding on Panda! What a wonderful surprise.

She continues to delight me. Sweet, clever and oh so naughty at times. She can charm the wind if given a chance! And delight the eye. Correct in conformation, movement and coat...she sports a tail and I have decided not to challenge the SCA and judges to prove a point...She is and will always be MY Champion!! I still can and probably will show her in the International ring<G> where Tails on Schips are the normal. It's required in Europe now...even England has stopped docking tails.
